Genuine Roman coin Silver Ring depicting Honos and Virtus
In the center of this sterling silver ring , is set an authentic Roman coin ( 70 B.C . ) depicting the customization of Honos and Virtus. There was a temple in Regio I of ancient Rome dedicated to Virtus and Honos. No remains survive. It is the first entry for Regio I in the regional catalogues and was sited just outside the porta Capena, probably on the northern side of the via Appia. In front of it was the Ara Fortuna Redux. In the reverse side of the coin there are Rome and Italy hand in hand.
