BLOWN OPAL
Obtained by overlapping the lattimo glass with other glass, the opal glass is blown and worked by hand.
The Labuan vase recalls the shape of the ancient oriental porcelain vases. It is made by Venini by layering two types of glass: lattimo glass inside and colored glass outside, in various shades of colour. This technique, invented in Murano in the first half of the 15th century, makes it possible to obtain an opal product of rare beauty.
