This exquisite 18 Kt gold pendant showcases an authentic Roman coin from the 2nd century AD, featuring Emperor Hadrian on one side and the seated Goddess Fortuna on the other. Hadrian, celebrated for his extensive travels and ambitious building projects, played a crucial role in uniting the vast territories of the Roman Empire. Beyond his military and political achievements,

Hadrian was a man of culture and intellect, leaving behind a rich legacy of poems and architectural marvels. Notable among these is the Temple of Rome and Venus, along with the reconstructed Pantheon. One of his most impressive endeavors was Villa Adriana, an expansive estate covering seven square miles outside Rome, adorned with baths, libraries, sculpture gardens, and alfresco dining halls. Today, Villa Adriana stands as a masterpiece of Roman architecture and enjoys UNESCO World Heritage status.

Adding to Hadrian's lasting impact, his tomb, known as Castel Sant'Angelo, initially served as a burial place for subsequent emperors before transforming into a formidable fortress. This dual role encapsulates the multifaceted legacy of Emperor Hadrian, highlighting his contributions to both the cultural and strategic aspects of Roman history.

On the reverse side of the coin, we see the inscription "Fortunae Reduci," which refers to Fortuna Redux, a form of the goddess who oversaw safe returns from long or hazardous journeys. Her symbols were the Cornucopia and rudder, signifying abundance and guidance, respectively.
