This sterling silver pendant features an authentic Roman silver coin minted in the 2nd century BC, depicting a Bull. In the ancient Mediterranean basin, the Gods were venerated, adored, and represented in diverse forms. They were usually depicted in anthropomorphic features, resembling humans, but sometimes also in the form of animals. During this period, many cults and religious symbols circulated across different cultures, and one particular symbol, the Bull, was widely revered.
The Bull was considered a divine and sacred animal by many ancient cultures and symbolized the Moon, constellations, fertility, rebirth, and even the power of kings.
