This silver pendant was handmade by the goldsmiths of my shop, SERRA, opened in Rome in 1910 and located in via Margutta 57 , in the historic center of the city, very close to the Spanish Steps! . In the silver pendant a bronze coin depicting an owl with closed wings is set , standing right on a olive spray. On left T A P , a curtailment of the name of the city : TARAS. Taras was an important greek city in South Italy, during the 5th and 4th century B.C. In the reverse side of the coin there is the helmeted Athena's head . All of our jewels are certified by certificate of authenticity attesting their Greek or Roman origin !
